Taylor Wimpey Move Home

Taylor Wimpey South Midlands regional business moved into their new purpose built office Newton House, Newton Leys on Friday 30 May. The new offices have achieved a BREEAM Office 2008 ‘Excellent’ rating and are A rated for energy performance giving exemplary sustainability credentials. The project from inception, design and through to construction including full FF&E was managed by Concept   (June 2014)


Southglade Food Park Phase 2 ERDF Project breaks ground

Construction work has commenced on Phase 2 of Southglade Food Park at Gala Way, Bestwood, Nottingham, situated adjacent to the Phase 1 of the Food Park which was also project managed by Concept in 2005.  The project will bring back into economic use 1 ha of contaminated brownfield land via the development of 12nr affordable food production facilities, providing start up accommodation for businesses and jobs for local people.  The Southglade Food Park Phase 2 project is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund Programme 2007 to 2013. New Student Accommodation

Students from across the globe have been settling in at a 15 storey tower block built in the heart of Nottingham.  Developed by Nottingham based Mortar Developments Ltd, the £31m mixed use scheme was built on the site of the former Odeon cinema and includes student accommodation, retail space and basement car parking.  "Global Point" was completed on time and within budget was officially opened on the 23rd September.  The building can accommodate up to 450 students and includes recreational facilities and a knowledge hub where tutorials will be held throughout the academic year.  Nigel Healey, Nottingham Trent University's Pro-Vice Chancellor said that having a building like Global Point would further the city's reputation internationally.  (September 2014)
