Boutique project management company Concept has made a number of new appointments and promotions as part of a major five year expansion plan.
The company, which specialises exclusively in project management without supermarket style add on services, aims to double its turnover by 2013.
It has appointed Ian Fryer, who joins from from Tribal Property Services, as senior project manager to work from its new Leeds office
Ian’s strong background in further and higher education, one of Concept’s core growth areas, will help the company meet the requirements of its recent appointment to the project management framework for the Learning and Skills Council in northern England.
Other recent high profile contracts in the education sector for Concept include a £20 million building to house the faculty of business and law at Leicester’s de Montfort University and the £38 million relocation of South Leicestershire College in Wigston.
The firm has also promoted Peter Brough, currently regional director for Nottingham, to be regional director and LSC framework manager in Leeds and given a seat on the board to Birmingham regional director Keith Park, who will now have wider responsibilities across the business.
